    • Designed of the first precast segmental box girder bridge in Sabah, including 3 elevated flyovers at Jalan Kingfisher, Jalan UMS and Indah Permai with total length of 1.2km
    • Prepared Bill of Quantities and quantity taking off and participated in the project planning, Value Assessment (VA) and Value Engineering (VE) sessions with JKR and local authorities
    • Advised and assisted the contractor in the setup of first cast yard for the precast segmental box girders, segment erections and temporary work design
    • Review the contractor’s proposal and submission on the bridge construction and of attend monthly JKR meeting

    • Propose an alternative design from the conforming design to provide more cost-effective solution with faster construction to the contractor.
    • Design various types of structures to overcome site constraints with tight height clearance and difficult alignment, including flat slab bridge, prestressed and RC spine beams, prestressed T beams and Super-U beams, precast post-tensioned segmental crossheads and precast portal beams with in-situ stitching.
    • Prepared Bill of Quantities and quantity taking off for cost estimation to ensure the construction cost estimation to ensure the construction cost is within expectation.

    Alternative Design on 2.0 km Elevated Highway for Package CB3 of Damansara-Shah Alam Highway (DASH), KL

    • Carried out design optimization on the 30m wide elevated expressway using pretensioned U-girders supported on precast post-tensioned segmental T-shape crossheads founded by 3.2m large diameter mono-pile bent system
    • Carried out the design of 2-span cast in-situ twin box girders constructed by balanced cantilever method over a STP
    • Carried out the design of large span prestressed portal beams, and prestressed spine beams at curve ramps.
    • Provided technical support and construction engineering service to the contractor for the erection of precast segmental crosshead and beam launching sequence.

    • Carry out design optimization for bridge superstructures and substructures and at the same time improve the speed and constructability of this two bound of 2km long elevated viaducts.
    • Carry out alternative design from the conforming precast segmental crosshead to a single-unit of precast hollow crosshead on order to speed up the construction program while achieving cost saving.
    • Provide performance-based design service to tailor-make the bridge design to overcome various site constraints and traffic obstructions
    • Prepared Bill of Quantities (BQ) and quantity taking off for cost estimation to keep the construction cost within expectation.
